‘The Ridge’ – The Drum Scottish Creative Awards Online Video of the Year… Nice
We got our tweed threads out last night and made our way over to join the Scottish creative masses. It was our first time at the awards and it was pretty special to meet so many interesting people and agencies working in the Scottish film, digital and advertising community. So many creative thinkers from both major agencies and also small creative companies who are all pushing boundaries and putting together some beautiful, funny or insanely creative work!
The award for best online video was definitely a hotly contested category with some stunning work from a huge range of agencies. It’s definitely a huge honour for us taking home the award in such esteemed company but more than that just amazing to get such recognition at the awards framer peers.
We had an awesome night catching up with old industry peers and meeting some new ones, needless to say far more beers were handed out than business cards and our heads are a little fragile today!
Next up in awards season is The Drum DADI Awards in London where Cut Media has a nomination in the Use of Video category…we’re only in a shortlist along with the likes of Topman, Samsung Mobile, Tesco, YouTube and Netflix so just them to elbow out of the way first…if we promise to turn up in kilts do we get as much as a look-in??
