Production Assistant (Full Time, Salary D.O.E.)
Cut Media are a Content Agency, working alongside the world’s leading brands, agencies and performers to create raw and inspiring campaigns for digital and social screens.
We’re an in house, collaborative team, driven to create mind-blowing work. We’re currently on the lookout for a new Production Assistant to join in the fun here at Cut Media HQ in Glasgow.
The role of Production Assistant requires a well-organised, enthusiastic person to join our exciting and growing team here at Cut Media.
The successful candidate will play a key role in researching, planning, and coordinating Cut Media’s creative concepts and productions, enabling smooth execution and delivery of our film content for an impressive client list of global outdoor sports and tourism brands.
We could start to unload the thesaurus to describe our work and approach, but the bottom line is that we’re driven by working together as one team in order to make incredible films that no-one else is making, or can make. Above all, the person we’d like to join our team must have that drive too.

What you will do:
Co-ordinate logistics and planning of our productions
Researching and developing all areas of our work; for example (but not limited to) researching concepts/ideas, locations, talent or sourcing equipment
Studio administration and management
Budgeting, expenses and invoicing
On-set production assisting
Attendance at events and meetings
Social Media & Marketing
You must have:
A full driving license.
A fun, outgoing personality and be someone who relishes a challenge
A positive can-do attitude and enjoy working in a team
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to work across multiple productions with excellent time management, communication, organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail
Competence in using Microsoft Office (particularly Word & Excel).
A polite, confident and friendly manner with a good sense of humour!
Flexibility, enthusiasm for the occasional foreign trip and ability to work weekends / evenings if required.
A willingness to learn and develop in the role.
We’ll like you more if you:
Have commercial experience in the video production or advertising industry
Have experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
Have any experience with video editing, storage or archiving.
Have experience / interest in the outdoor, cycling or tourism industries.
