Community Manager (Full time, Salary D.O.E)

As part of our growth we’re now on the lookout for a new Community Manager to join our team here in Glasgow.

Job Description

Cut Media’s work is all about creative, platform specific video content for a host of incredible brands. We can drop all the buzzwords here about our work…  Fresh, authentic, innovative etc… The bottom line is that we’re driven by making and promoting incredible films and content that no-one else is making or can make. Above all the person we want in our team must have that drive and passion too.

Our community manager’s role will be about working with our creative team to assist with the strategic plan and implementation of our content campaigns, both for our clients and Cut Media’s own channels. This will also include elements of digital strategy, channel management, media buying, along with a thorough feedback process, review of KPI’s and recommendations.

As a creative agency we have a unique strength in our online community, with a following of 228K YouTube subscribers, 28K facebook followers and 16K instagram followers. This is something we’d like to utilise and engage with more.

The successful applicant will be an outgoing, fun and driven person with a proven experience of working in the social media landscape and must have a strong understanding of executing and reporting on social media campaigns.

What you will do:

  • Set, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies for our clients and Cut Media

  • Channel management for both Cut Media’s own channels and our clients

  • Nurture and grow Cut Media’s online community.

  • Identify, track and report on client KPI’s

  • Analyse, test and report on the effectiveness / ROI of all our campaigns.

  • Collaborate with our in-house team to develop, produce and feedback on creative Cut Media brand content for promotion on our own channel.

  • Understand, develop and ultimately create content in accordance with our tone of voice guidelines.

  • Provide engaging text, and utilise image and video content for all social media and professional accounts.

You must have:

  • Proven work experience as a community manager or similar role

  • Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs

  • Experience of paid and organic activity, driving social media integration

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills

  • Hands on experience with social media management

  • Ability to interpret website traffic

  • A polite, confident and friendly manner with a good sense of humour!

 

We’ll like you more if:

  • You have strong knowledge/experience/passion for outdoor sports and/or cycling.

  • Understanding of Adobe creative suite, in particular Premiere, Lightroom and Photoshop.

  • Strong understanding of SEO
